In the UK, The conservative party is most likely to be supported and the newspaper they likely would read is THE TIMES.

5) Why has there been a decline in newspaper sales in the last 50 years?

Over the years, people have adapted from newspapers to laptops and computers due to digitalisation and so the sales of newspaper have declined.

6) Why is a free press important in a democracy like the UK?

The free-press is important in a democracy like the UK as it acts as independent watchdog, which holds power that accounts.
