Advertising and Marketing: Key conventions

 

Conventions And Analysis:

  • Picture of the product itself (Skittles) is shown in the advert. This is as the packet of the skittles are supporting the cause.
  • The logo is bold and clear and is in the centre of the packaging. It specifically denotes in the letter "I" as it has a colourful rainbow pouring out the actual product.
  • The Background features a blue sky and a light use of clouds in the back of the product. It pulls in a relaxing atmosphere in the advert.
  • The slogan is located under the packaging and is visible by the shade of blue mixing into the background of the bluey sky.
  • The colour scheme includes many colours contributing to one big idea - a rainbow that consists of red, blue, green, orange, yellow and purple.
