EBI: For your Stranger Things mise-en-scene analysis, paragraphs would really help in terms of breaking up your ideas and making the analysis easier to read. The other aspect to work on is the depth and detail of your written work – for example, for denotation and connotation you could offer more for the ‘connotation’ and ‘analysis’ parts as this is where you need to offer a range of meanings to access the top levels.

Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? 

 

What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far?

1)  My strongest piece of work in media so far was Denotation And Connotation. This is because I was able to expand my definition of denotation and to explain in detail of the literal image. This is the complete same for connotation since further analysing the deeper meaning of the image was really easy. 

What is your weakest? 

2) My weakest piece of work has to be the fruit bowl because the tools included to paste the colours in certain areas. In addition, It was difficult to change colours and tools on different layers.

What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? 

3) For the rest of my media course I want to work on my organisational skills and creativity skills since I lack on those parts in media.
