 Stranger Things

I can analyse from the 8 minute trailer of stranger things is that first of all the costumes tells a big part. This is because we can see in the beginning that there is a scientist with some type of laboratory outfit. I can infer from this that they are working on a very hidden and important project inside their facility. As well as, it showed 4 boys in casual clothes which creates a settle and calm atmosphere for the audience. Since, its not all your face all the time. Secondly, through the type of lighting in the trailer, it has a range of different settings included that contrasts a multicoloured background. As an Example, There was a constant flash of light in the corridor of the laboratory. The tone of this is really dim and overwhelming feeling for the audience and it was dark at times when it was going downhill. Thirdly, The trailer presents an immense effect in the beginning where there was chase from a mysterious figure. The frantic tension explained that the person was anxious and scared to be captured. In addition, The 4 boys as soon as they left the house they eventually rode on bikes. However as this a classical 1980's horror film , they suddenly get separated from each other leaving them isolated in the dark weather. Finally, they contributed a lot of props in the film which builds a more exciting feeling for the characters during the cinematic masterpiece. Such as, They were seen in a 1983 type of house where they mostly hanged in the basement, playing board games. There were times where they held a gun and that shapes a pressuring moment for the boy and daunting tone for the audience. Furthermore, most of the tragic events occurred in a highly-restricted laboratory which could've stored a great extent of valuables. Making it somehow of a cliff-hanger as we'll never know what they have in the building. So this film then creates a staggering emotion towards the audience.
